£26million for republican prisoners this year, nothing for their victims.
---------------------- Worst case of a conflict of interest in Northern Ireland, the victim maker's decide what victims get funding. Rosaleen McCorley the IRA woman who received 22 years for putting a bomb under an RUC man's car now sits as a CRC ( Community Relations Council) board member and has rejected FAIRS funding again, what a conflict of interest. Do any of our politicians even care?.
-------------------------------------- First Minister Robinson said: “If people have committed crimes then they’re answerable, no matter what their position, and if there’s evidence and it’s brought forward then it’s up to due process to determine.”
Exhibit A Photo Exhibit B Testimony Ex-Army intelligence officer "Mr McGuinness” was officer commanding of the IRA’s northern command, and also that a “Mr McGuinness” had authorised the south Armagh IRA to kidnap, torture and kill senior RUC officers Chief Superintendent Harry Breen and Superintendent Bob Buchanan". Is that not a good start, anywhere esle in the world this would have McGiunness arrested ------------------------------------------------------------------------
VIDEO: IRA Diesel €0.95per liter. Smuggling & Victims persecuted in stand for Justice. ---------------------- Victims being persecuted in stand for Justice After decades of ethnic cleansing and genocide along the border areas, the innocent victims of South Armagh are still being attacked by the murderers who orchestrated the campaigns of terror, only this time they are wearing suits and call themselves OFMDFM. FAIR refuses to be silent on issues of inequality of injustice and for this reason OFMDFM have made it their personal quest to shut down the group by any means possible.
For two and a half years they have called FAIR into question, only to find time and time again that FAIR were innocent of any financial or administrative wrongdoing. They responded to the findings by informing their puppets to ‘check again’.
In recent months many innocent Protestants and Catholics who are part of FAIR’s three thousand strong group have decided to enquire for themselves of the funders why one of the largest victims groups, in the worst affected area of the troubles, is being denied the funding to help those who have suffered terribly at the hands of the IRA. Upon making these calls many have actually been told they should join other groups and an earnest attempt has been made to re-direct FAIR members away from the group. This is proved fruitless as it has only strengthened the resolve of those individual members and indeed FAIR as a whole.
FAIR is only looking for justice and equality, the very things Stormont like to champion as the basis of any stable democracy, however these basic human rights are being denied at the behest of OFMDFM. One interesting, and rather disturbing point that has come to the attention of FAIR is that the equality commission, CRC, CFNI and many other bodies are all in some way or another linked into OFMDFM. Most are under the control of OFMDFM, so where is the independent bodies?
It is all one big corrupt network, each feeding of one another in order to continue to receive their funding and keep the Peace train on track. How can the innocent victims expect of get justice when OFMDFM is controlled by the same people who personally carried out, personally ordered or where complicit in the murders of those whose families seek justice.
FAIR has in the region of three thousand members and is based in the worst affected area of the conflict, the border area of South Armagh. There are many innocent victims who need help, however this help cannot be provided because the victims are being denied their rights and equal funding at every turn. All work carried out at the moment is under a voluntary basis, this is due to the financial constraints being placed upon the organisation by the continuing intimidation and dirty tricks campaign being orchestrated by OFMDFM.
FAIR only ask for justice and equality, and will continue to fight until all innocent victims feel they have both the equality and have received the justice they deserve. How do people expect us to move on when they are still continuing to attack us while we are simply trying to answer the hurt and pain of one of the worst affected communities of the conflict? ---------------- Shame on Irish State
The innocent victims group FAIR has once again been lied to in relation to a promised meeting with Irish Taoiseach Enda Kennedy. As was widely publicised in recent months, FAIR had planned to hold a walk for Justice in Dublin and hand in a letter of protest at Leinster House after walking down O’Connell street.
William Frazer of FAIR was at the gates of the Garda station in Dublin to meet with the Assistant commissioner and other senior members of the Irish Guards. However upon plans being made for this event, a call was received by William Frazer informing him that Mr Kennedy now wished to meet with the innocent victims over the very serious issue of Irish State collusion with the IRA. As a gesture of goodwill the walk was postponed pending the outcome of the meeting with the Taoiseach.
However somewhat unsurprisingly the Irish Government and their officials have now refused to respond to any communications from FAIR and seem to have reneged on their promise of a meeting. It seems to be the case that the Irish State feel the innocent victims will soon get bored and ride of into the sunset, this I can assure you will never be the case. On one hand the Irish Taoiseach comes to Ulster, passing through the very border area when officers of his state colluded with IRA terrorists to murder and maim innocent civilians, and demands all sorts of enquires.
It is a well known proverb that perhaps you should take the plank out of your own eye before removing the speck from another’s. The Irish state colluded with a murderous terrorist gang which could have been brought to book y the due process of law and order relatively early in their terrorist careers, however thanks to the intervention, or lack of it, from the Irish state, this one gang alone were allowed to continue their reign of terror and murdered over 100 innocent victims.
The blood of many of these victims is on the hands of the Irish Government, the Garda and indeed the Irish Army. It is a terrible indictment upon the good men of the Garda who did try and fight the terrorists through the process of law and order; however they were hampered by the reluctance of senior members of both the Irish Government and their security forces who were at best sympathetic to the IRA and at worst active in collusion with the terrorists. The innocent victims of South Armagh and indeed all innocent victims of the ethnic cleansing that took place across our province demand answers of the Irish Government. We haven’t, and we won’t go away. |
