Catholic extremists in assault rifle attack. The Irish republican extremists are being blamed for a gun attack on a police station in County Armagh Northern Ireland. A car pulled up outside the station in Bessbrook village on Sunday evening at about 2100 BST. The police station in Crossmaglen has been attacked twice in recent weeks.
